Winery Owner & Author visited Colonial recently!
Deborah Brenner, author of ‘Women of the Vine’ visited Colonial and tasted wines made by ‘iconic’ women winemakers – sample some of these wines for yourself (a few ‘signed’ bottles left)! Their wines were recently served at the White House.

Boston Wine Expo is the largest wine event in the US – and a great place to network!
Prior to my latest ski injury (and double knee replacement surgery), I (Caroline) was lucky enough to meet the owner/author (Deborah Brenner) of Women of the Vine Cellars and she accepted my invitation to come to RI to debut the wines of several iconic winemakers who make wines for this unique label - which includes famous winemakers like Heidi Barrett, Marketta Fourmeaux, Dorothy Schuler, Signe Zoller, and Alison Crowe. Our events were awesome and held at Blue Grotto (dinner) and Ferns & Flowers (lunch). We are the first and ‘exclusive’ supplier of these wines in Rhode Island.

Not only has Carol been painfully recovering from double knee replacement but then Bruce received the bad news that he had a 'mass' appear in his lung. A very difficult biopsy resulted in his chest being opened (same as open heart surgery) and it has just been a tough, tough year so far!!! Bruce goes in for the balance of his surgery and recovery will not be an easy task.
